Who I am

This website, fahidjavid.com, is operated by Fahid Javid, a sole proprietor based in Lahore, Pakistan. I build and sell macOS applications, and I develop WordPress themes and plugins. By using this site, downloading a trial, or purchasing a licence, you agree to these terms.

Products and trials

My macOS apps are offered with free trials. Trials are provided for evaluation, so you can confirm an app works on your Mac before purchasing. Trial builds may limit certain features or usage until a licence is activated. Product names, prices, and features are listed on the apps page and may change over time.

Orders, payments and taxes

The order process is conducted by Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all orders: Paddle handles the checkout, payment processing, applicable sales taxes and VAT, invoicing, and payment-related customer service. Paddle's own terms and privacy policy apply to every purchase in addition to these terms.

Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your country.

Licence

When you purchase an app, you are buying a licence, not the software itself. Unless stated otherwise on the product page, each purchase includes a 2-Mac licence:

• You may activate the app on up to two Macs that you own or control.
• The licence covers personal and commercial use.
• You may move an activation to a new Mac by deactivating an old one, or by contacting me if a machine is no longer available.

You may not:

• Share, resell, sublicense, or publish your licence key.
• Redistribute the app, modified or unmodified, in any form.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass the licensing or trial mechanism.

Updates and support

Licences include app updates for the version range stated on the product page. Support is provided by email at hello@fahidjavid.com and covers installation, activation, and bugs in the app itself. Support does not cover issues caused by modified systems, macOS beta releases, or third-party software conflicts.

Refunds

Refunds are handled according to the Refund Policy, and processed by Paddle as the Merchant of Record. In short: try the free trial first, and if a technical issue makes the app unusable and I cannot fix it, I will support a refund within 14 days of purchase.

Intellectual property

All apps, code, designs, and content on this site are my intellectual property unless credited otherwise, and are protected by copyright. Purchasing a licence grants you the usage rights described above and nothing more.

Warranty disclaimer

Apps are provided "as is" and "as available". I work hard to keep them stable, but I cannot promise they are free of defects, or that they fit a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are disclaimed. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or my apps, including data loss or lost profits. My total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the licence in question.

Termination

I may deactivate a licence that is used in violation of these terms, for example a key that is shared publicly or resold. Where reasonable, I will contact you first.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision, and continued use of the site or apps after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without affecting any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country of residence.
